Feature Stories For Annual Report
The Vermont Land Trust is commited to conserving the state’s working farms and forests. Since 1977, the organization has protected over 500,000 acres from development thanks to the support of over 5,000 members.
Tamarack has worked with VLT on a variety of multimedia initiatives to engage supporters, from the “Conservation Can’t Wait” and “What’s Your Vermont?” video campaigns to designing postcards to encourage planned giving. One of our most satifying projects over the years has been serving as writers for VLT’s newsletters and annual report, which provided an opportunity to travel the state and meet farmers young and old, sample fresh maple syrup and artisinal cheeses, and talk with people about their deep connection to the land.
Tamarack Media has an incredible handle on conservation and how to effectively communicate about the many facets of the work. The team at Tamarack does a fantastic job of listening to clients, sharing their own creative ideas, and then combining the two visions into an effective communications tool. Tamarack brings their own passion for environmental and conservation issues to their work which adds additional depth to their finished products. Tamarack staff are a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend them for work with any non-profit or business entity.
