TogetherGreen is a unique collaboration between National Audubon Society and Toyota to support community-based environmental activities and develop new environmental leaders. Tamarack has provided a variety of multimedia services for the TogetherGreen program, including:

  • Editing a series of videos that profile TogetherGreen Fellows and Innovation Grant recipients.
  • Creating an animation (through Final Cut Motion and Google Earth Pro) illustrating TogetherGreen’s expanding network.
  • Developing a suite of interactive games (built in Flash) on backyard conservation (for the Pennies for the Planet website) and climate change (for kiosks at nature centers across the US).
  • Providing video support for Audubon’s social media outreach aligned with the film The Big Year, including editing an interview between Audubon President David Yarnold and actors Steve Martin, Jack Black, and Owen Wilson.

Tamarack partner Bill Finnegan received a 2010 TogetherGreen Fellowship to create an iPhone app to help people save energy and he is currently collaborating with Efficiency Vermont on Energy-Ops, an iOS app and Drupal website for users to tag energy savings opportuntiies and actions in their home and community.
