Pete is a Vermont native, website developer, writer, music composer, wildlife advocate, and assistant to Willy (Tamarack’s office dog). During a hiatus from the Green Mountain State, Pete worked at the San Diego Zoo and Defenders of Wildlife; he also directed education programs at a black bear sanctuary in northern Minnesota. While co-founding Tamarack, Pete received support from Wild Gift, a network of better world entrepreneurs. Pete currently serves on the boards of the Vermont Land Trust and Vermont Natural Resources Council. He is a Doris Duke Conservation Fellow and a Senior Fellow in the Environmental Leadership Program. Pete especially enjoys working with smaller organizations or individuals needing to overcome technological barriers to reach their constituents.
